Album Title And Release Date ✨
Album update time!
We officially finished recording (the last note was a backup vocal of Greta's on the 10th song on the album) at the beginning of July. Now Willow is currently in the middle of the mixing process, and we will be doing group mixes together next week. This is when we listen to the songs on every different type of speaker we can think of (car stereo, earbuds, stereo with subs, tinny phone and laptop speakers, etc.) and try to make sure it sounds good on all of them.
Then it will go to be mastered.
The album art is now finished and we are very happy with it.
So that's ready to go, and I just approved all of the words and lyrics (have to make sure that it's clear who wrote each thing and whether Solana played mountain dulcimer on a song or Greta played all the strings parts. It just wouldn't do to give someone credit for a random shaker part they didn't play, haha!) for the booklet that will go with the CD, very similar to the ones for Dragonfly and A Celtic Christmas.
Not long now...
And as such, we can now reveal that the name of the album will be...
And the album will be released on October 17th, 2025.

We've also booked two very special concerts at the Thumbnail Theater in Washington on October 18th and 19th. These will be the album release concerts, so most likely quite different and special. More info is below!
We've been enjoying our time off the road, and getting to listen to these songs every day. It's a long and challenging process, but very rewarding. And in between we've been able to sneak in some campfires and hikes and bubble tea and work on a new awesome shirt design with our friends at Printmade Apparel (they made the Mountain Sunrise shirt and hoodie, as well as the Mandolin shirt!), and working on putting together the live show schedule.

Gothard Sisters News and Updates
1. October Album Release Concerts
Now that the release date has been set, we're so excited to announce that we'll be holding two very special release concerts at the lovely Thumbnail Theater in Snohomish, WA. For those of you who have been to a show at The Thumb before, you'll know it's a unique, intimate venue -- great sound and lights, welcoming staff, comfortable seats, and a very cozy feel.
For these concerts we'll be offering a Saturday evening concert at 7 pm, as well as a Sunday matinee at 4 pm, so choose your favorite!
We'll be playing all of the new songs and sharing the stories behind them, as well as Celtic folk traditionals and old Gothard Sisters favorites as well. However, as this is a small venue with only 80 seats, we advise you make sure to get your tickets well in advance!
